Hulya Erhan–Sangenito & James “Jimmy” Sangenito
Hulya and Jimmy are experienced ballroom dance instructors who love sharing the joy of social dancing. Trained by Ballroom Dance Guru Pierre Dulaine, they have taught at renowned studios such as the Pierre Dulaine Dance Studio and Dancesport in Manhattan, as well as on major cruise lines including Carnival, Norwegian, and Royal Caribbean.

Hulya, who has been teaching since 2000, completed the Student Teacher level certificate of the American International Dancers Association in 2019 and is a proud AIDA member. She loves performing in showcases and has shared her favorite dances at Gene Eagle’s Sunday Social Dances.

Jimmy, with 25 years of experience, specializes in American Smooth and Latin Ballroom. He has also taught at LaGuardia Community College and emphasizes musicality, styling, and partnering to enhance the social dance experience.

Together, they bring a wealth of knowledge, enthusiasm, and a love for dance to every class and event they teach.
