What I Do:
I teach the art of Body Language in West Coast Swing, creating an inclusive, consent-focused dance environment for Adventurers, Thinkers, and Creatives. My mission is to reshape WCS education by reestablishing the physical connection between oneself and one’s partner on the dance floor. I aim to help our kinetic human computers reconnect with the joy of community, movement, and music. As a passionate traveler, I bring the Kinetic Dance Languages to life worldwide, serving as an Instructor, Judge, and Competitor across the States and beyond. If your dance needs a boost in improvisation, passion, or efficiency, send me a DM, and let’s evolve your dance together.
Why I Do It:
Dancing is my safe haven and the purest form of my expression. Sharing the love of swing dancing with my home community in KC and beyond fulfills my Ikigai. I’m dedicated to helping others experience the positive, welcoming energy of the WCS social dance floor.
Ariel’s Bio:
Ariel Peck is a seasoned dance instructor who began her dance journey at the age of 10, training in ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, and tumbling. She became a principal dancer and choreographer with Infusion Dance Company and later co-founded Infusion School of the Arts, where she taught various dance forms. In 2014, Ariel discovered West Coast Swing, a dance style that captivated her and shifted her career focus. Since then, she has traveled and competed professionally both nationally and internationally, quickly rising through the ranks.
Today, Ariel is passionate about teaching West Coast Swing through the Body Language Curriculum. She is dedicated to helping dancers unlock new skills, build confidence, and experience the magic of social dancing. With her rich background in both solo dance and WCS, Ariel empowers dancers to connect deeply with the music and their partners on the dance floor.
